Просмотров 999 часов назад
In this video we're experimenting with brake pads! Does a more expensive set of brake pads actually offer you increased braking performance or is it just a gimmick to get you to buy their products. We're going to be putting the stock Tektro pads head to head with a set of green Sinter pads to see who comes out on top! Great review! How capable on single track do you feel the redwood is compared to something like an entry level hardtail? I mainly ride road and I’m trying to find a do it all dad bike set up that could double for use on light single track as well.

    Thank you. That was really helpful. I liked the tip to go up in 4" at a time. In the UK there isn't much variety of options for 18 inchers, so I'm going from a 14 balance bike to 16 bmx pedal bike, then hopefully to 20 bmx if he chooses that style of riding.

    Thanks, I did this to a Campagnolo Scirroco 20 road wheel and have been riding it for 25 years now with no problem. The factories actually do this to the factory wide wheels now. Even though it only saved maybe 20 grams, adding that up over 1,000s of miles ridden is worth it.

    If you need perscription lenses. A company called out of makes some good stuff. All their cycling glasses work with a clip in optical deal. The cheapest pair even come with ziess glass lenses @ $150ish. They go up to $350 for crazy photochromics that change in under 1 second.

    I don't know... on the topic of defeating its purpose... these cheap and popular ones everyone's talking about look like they have a speaker on the front, with that characteristic circular gap looking like it allows you to drive a hefty screwdriver or chisel in through there and silence the device with one smash, before it can even properly sound out the first-level warning buzz, let alone start really screaming.

    The whole point of the low beam cut off is to have the upper edge BELOW the horizon to prevent blinding other cars/bikes etc. The high beam then illuminates ABOVE that cut off line when you need to see more in a dark street with no other oncoming traffic. Just like in a car 🤦 This is the WHOLE point of the light so would have been good if you actually used it like that in the review.

    26 for twisty single track , 29 for supertanker manoeuvre ability. The heavier wheel isnt the only issue , its the bigger gyroscope that makes 29 a slower steering bike

    Have them on a 80's Raleigh 6 speed cruiser. Handlebars on them are not the giant curved bars they're kinda flat across like north bars. These bar ends in the center let you lean way back into the cruiser seat. Feels good leaning back but they do look a little funky. Add a giant shiny bike bell lol 🛎️

    Thanks for sharing your experience with Compressionless Brake Housing, I just ordered a Jagwire kit for my road bike build with ZTTO Cable actuated disc calipers, my brakes work ok on the drops but I'm wanting to increase the braking power and modulation on the hoods which I spend most of the time riding on a road bike. Hopefully is with the $35 upgrade is worth it because the cables cost almost as much as the set of calipers bought from AliExpress. I do agree with you for bikes with getting a fully hydraulic Shimano MT200 hydraulic setup for $50-70 dollars for flat bar bikes.

  • @Jonny-DAK
    @Jonny-DAK 17 дней назад

    I have flat bar levers on my drop bar right now. I flip them around put them on the end of the bar with the levers facing forward. Actuate with pinky/ring fingers. Only downside is no braking available when extended to the curve of the dropbar, but lets be honest we dont use them that much anyway.
